December 9th is a National Day of Action
to Reclaim the Promise of Public Education
Find an event near you and join in!

Day of ActionEducation advocates and organizers across the nation are calling for a new kind of reform, one that ends inequities and closes opportunity gaps so that every student can succeed.

On December 9, educators, parents and students in cities and towns across the country will mobilize in public action as part of the National Day of Action to Reclaim the Promise of Public Education: Our Schools, Our Solutions.

During this Day of Action we will be saying YES to The Principles That Unite Us, and NO to the corporate agenda for our schools, YES to great neighborhood public schools for all students, and NO to privatization, school closings and the over-testing of students.

You can view a list of planned events here. If you are organizing an action but don't see it listed, please send information to edjusticedayofaction@gmail.com so that we can help promote your hard work!

Please consider endorsing the Principles That Unite Us. You can sign on as an individual or as an organization (or both!) here.
