National Partners – The National Council of Churches is one of many national partners who are concerned about the direction of education reform. This ecumenical group encompasses 35 Christian communions, with traditions ranging from mainline protestant to small, immigrant-based Pentecostal communities. The Council’s governing board recently sent a pastoral letter to the President and Congress backing the Opportunity to Learn agenda and calling for justice in school reform. Read more. |
